Fantastic! I love the whole series of these department store paintings, and seeing the process makes it even better. You really captured the high contrast and surreal glare of the too-bright lights and gleaming chrome everywhere. The reflections in the floor are great; every brushstroke counts. What size is this?
Thanks Kathryn. I've had fun doing these paintings. this one is about 9"x10" inches. I am working on 3 or 4 large (40"x50") paintings of beauty department scenes that I will post in a few weeks.
I really like seeing these all in a row. How much time would you say you invested in this. And, did you allow each step to dry before adding the next? (three days?)
