Dark Carnival

Here is a small painting I did a few years back. I took my wife and kids for a drive on a hot summer Saturday evening and we came upon a really cool little carnival celebration. I guess it was an annual thing that takes place every year on the main street of a small neighboring town. I'm glad I had my camera with me.

I didn't know of your work until I saw a comment of yours tonight on Edward B. Gordon's site. Your loose brushwork to depict ights against darkness is admirable.
