Waiting By An Exit

Oil on panel about 14"x 20". This was some kind of pirate themed attraction viewed from the side. I was drawn to the mysterious exiting stairway.

You are one awesome artist. I found your blog via your friend's blog...and am I glad. Wonderful work. I especially love the carnival rides paintings...and of course, having had a little boy of my own who is now about to turn 40, the Fisher Price toy paintings are unique and excellent.

Wow!--looks like you're drawn to clutter--you must have kids. Interesting paintings. Gives a depressing yet realistic take on american society, but fun to view!--well done!----------Susan

Thanks for the kind words.
Lynne, the Fisher Price paintings seem to really appeal to the 30 to 40 year old crowd. Those toys really defined my early childhood.
Susan, I do have 3 kids with lots of old Happy Meal toys. My wife was about to throw them all away one day and I said, "wait! let me try to paint a bucket-full of them first." That's how the toy thing all started.
